Côte Ouest Bistro is a contemporary French bistro led by partners Laurent Monchicourt & Martin Sarrailh. In April 2021, the pair transformed the former Baker Street Bistro into a modern 21st century neighborhood gem. At the heart of Laurent and Martin's partnership lies a shared dream: to create a restaurant that embraces guests like family, offering a haven where they can delight in delectable food and wine, surrounded by warm companionship.

Nestle into one of the bay window seats and enjoy conversation over a plate of charcuterie with the perfect glass of Bordeaux. Chef Sarrailh prepares seasonal specialties as well as favorite French classics like Steak Frites and Duck Confit. The custard-soaked Croissant French Toast is not to be missed if you stop by for brunch on the sunny terrace.

Côte Ouest Bistro has been featured in Forbes magazine and The Infatuation and was named one of the "Top 100 Brunch Restaurants in the Nation 2024" by Open Table.

Always a great meal, cozy setting and terrific team. From the kitchen to the front of the house, you can’t go wrong dining here. Set in a charming neighbourhood, you feel like a regular whether you are (or not).

This is our favorite go-to neighborhood restaurant. Though we can walk to it, we would drive to it if it was necessary. This wonderful food is also a great value. it is not inexpensive, but you would find it difficult to find the quality, presentation and service of Cote' for this price anywhere else in San Francisco. And the outdoor dining is a very pleasant experience.

Tucked away on a charming side street in Cow Hollow is this delightful French bistro that has stolen my heart (and tastebuds!). The ambiance is warm and inviting with soft lighting that casts a romantic glow and cozy, charming seating (indoors and out) with views of the quiet neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home -- which is especially good since I spend about as much time eating at this restaurant as I do eating at home (I live across the street, and I am an awful cook!) But the true star of the show is the food. Every dish is flavorful, from the melt-in-your-mouth filet to the perfectly cooked coq a vin and duck confit. They also do a wonderful brunch with fluffy omelettes, quiche, eggs benedict, croque monsieur, french toast and more. And don't miss the frites -- they are great! The food portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. Every meal I've eaten here has been delicious. If you're looking for a quintessential San Francisco French bistro experience, look no further! This hidden gem is a must-visit.
