I have been to courts on 2 occasions now and I have had 2 very bad experiences. First one, Valentine’s Day, we had a rude waiter that wouldn’t let us order a drink until we were ready to order all food, followed by no fillet steaks available so had to have ribeye which was awful, a waitress dropped a chewing gum out of her mouth on to our table. We were waiting around for a waiter/waitress a lot, the food was disappointing. We put this down to it being Valentine’s Day and busy, but agreed we wouldn’t go on a set menu occasion again.
We booked again to attend on a regular Saturday, we were seated behind the entrance desk, it took ages for anyone to take our drinks order and even longer for the drinks to come. Then the pumping music started, as well as still being able to hear the live singer music, and then everyone around us started shouting as they couldn’t hear one another, there was way too much noise going on, we asked to move upstairs (where we previously sat so we know it’s quieter) the waitress said it’s all open so exactly the same up there. One of us used the toilets upstairs and it was only the live singer you could hear up there so that was a lie. Whilst ordering food after waiting a while, the iPad died, the waitress disappeared to get a different one, then when she had one it wouldn’t work and she needed a manager to override it. She disappeared again for a while, we finally ordered again. The waitress came back and told us there was no fillet steak left and we had ordered two, offered us ribeye like last time which I would not have again. During this time the two different musics as well as shouting and more and more bad news got to us all and we decided we could not stay so we booked a taxi and went elsewhere. The manager told me he would call me in the week but he still has not and it’s been over a week. We have told people of our experience and they are all shocked we still had to pay for our drinks even though it was an awful experience. Terrible.
