Smart new restaurant offering upmarket steak, burger, wings, ribs and some unique combos amongst other things, filling in a gap left by closure of TGI Fridays in Dundrum Town Centre.
The ambience and decor is young and fresh, though not noticeably 'Cowboy', and perhaps just a little on the noisy side because the tables are quite close together with limited inner structures to block off sounds or sights of fellow diners.
Service was friendly but just a little bit slow, about 45 mins before our starters arrived and similar till our mains after that. The staff taking our order didn't really reappear and this led to some minor issues. We had asked to hold the bbq sauce on my wife's burger and get another sauce instead. The waiter kindly assured us they would arrange this, but 90 minutes later the burger came slathered with bbq sauce and when mentioned, the new waiter apologised but didn't really offer a remedy. Not wanting to waste, we agreed to take it and remove the sauce as best as possible but this affected enjoyment for the food and experience. To sort of add injury, the final bill clearly stated delivery of a burger minus sauce. I also ordered a new drink when the mains were arrived but it was only delivered after we had finished eating. Other than that, our starter of corn ribs and wings was nice (perhaps more sauce on the ribs would have been nicer), the medium-rare ribeye steak ordered was nicely cooked, though slightly under seasoned. Overall, flavours were good though perhaps not quite #1 compared to similar nearby upmarket offerings. Overall we felt prices were just borderline high for what is offered, but portions were generous, with decent complementary sides. Overall this would probably prevent us going again, but we felt it was certainly worth visiting once.
