Food was really good when we eventually got it. Took over an hour to get our food and then got our order wrong.

A lovely time was had, great food and value for money. A little too loud, but not really a issue. I was with friends celebrating my birthday. A little embarrassed and disappointed when we paid the bill. We wanted to pay mostly in cash, over £100, but the waitress was quite unhelpful and told us how they couldn't take the cash and we needed to pay by card! She then proceeded to tell us a story about a huge theft by a director or manager who was prosecuted when a large value of money was taken. We found this quite unprofessional and unnecessary. It seemed a few minutes went by where she stood in silence not knowing what to do! She took our cash (it is legal tender) and we left. A little disappointing end to our evening. Waitress was named Bea. Thank you x

Food is great as are the staff very loud can’t really have a conversation. Price quite expensive and sneaky service charge. I expect to pay for my meal not to have a surprise service charge on top.

As a whole and including everything needed for a successful venue, I’d say Craft & Cleaver is the best food spot in the whole of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

The staff were lovely as usual, the food was amazing and the ambience was buzzing without being too loud and intrusive. Highly recommended

Even though it was relatively empty, staff were initially and then throughout the night keen to make eye contact. We waited at reception for some time, even though there was clearly an abundance of staff just chatting amongst themselves. As a senior manger / leader of another organisation I felt there was little to no grip of the central experience trying to be achieved by the company. The staff were reluctant to serve and reluctant to be be called for assistance. Ironically each time would have been the customer spending more money on drinks, desserts etc… made no sense from a physical point of view. In summary, lack of customer attentiveness, which would ultimately result in higher revenues for company. All in, very disappointing. Won’t be back again.
