Located inside the Historic Hotel Monteleone, Criollo Restaurant serves creative, seasonal dishes that represent the unique tastes of Louisiana Cuisine and the amalgam of cultures our Chef’s recipes embody. Our open kitchen design creates an air of excitement, as patrons can watch the Chefs construct culinary masterpieces that will delight each table. Our large windows shine a bright, radiant ambiance into the dining room for all guests to enjoy, as they encounter quality ingredients, exceptional service, and high-end southern hospitality. For more intimate dining experiences, large parties are welcomed to engage within our two private dining areas; both designed with inspiration from Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner, two literary writers that have left a timeless impression on the Hotel Monteleone.

Very nice place! It was on the pricey side but in my opinion it was worth every penny. I tried new things that I thought I would’ve never eaten. The servers were the best! I would definitely go back again.

If you are booking Le Petit Chef immersive dining experience please be aware that on top of the $135 5-course dinner, there’s also a charge of $40 for the actual digital show that you see on your table.

Food was just average, the Duck was fatty and chewy. Did not live up to expectations. Service was very good, server and Maitre de were very good and accommodating.
