Visit the handsome restaurant at Crutherland House in East Kilbride and enjoy a wonderful selection of dishes, created with ingredients that are carefully sourced and treated with respect by our team of talented chefs. That’s why you’ll appreciate the quality of the steak cooked exactly the way you want it, whether you’re a ribeye lover, a sirloin fan or just crave the tastiest burger around. All our beef is hung for at least 21 days and our white fish is sustainable – so our Battered North Sea Haddock and hand cut chips is a favourite dish with great provenance, too. There’s something for everyone on the menu so leave the inspiration to us – simply sit back and enjoy a first-class dining experience. If you prefer something more casual, relax in the Lounge Bar and enjoy a drink and something lighter to eat. Both our dining areas are open to non-residents and the stunning countryside views are a bonus.

                        Disappointingly no atmosphere in the restaurant, such a shame as you walk through character-full entrance with lovely cosy table and chairs etc. to get to very dull room. Restaurant was quiet, very few other diners, no background music, not even pictures/paintings or artwork on the wall. The staff had a assumed we were in for afternoon tea instead of the Sunday lunch, even though we gave them our gift voucher before we were seated. The wait staff were all lovely, no complaints, the food was also delicious and came promptly, just a shame it wasn't the complete experience and left us decidedly underwhelmed.

                        Hardly anyone else in dining room so no atmosphere Food was good although could have been a bit warmer The girl who served us looked nervous so wondered if new but she is dealing with public so should be told to smile and make some conversation with customers she looked miserable. After we finished our dessert we sat for a while to see if anyone would come out of the kitchen to ask us if we’d like coffee. No one did so we decided to leave and go elsewhere for coffee

                        Staff were vey attentive, food was brilliant. Overall very good value for money. The sticky toffee pudding is a must

                        Food was ok, plates warm but food not, tasted fine, chicken was really good. Service was slow and some servers were not great. The dining room was dated and needing a good hoover, I cleaned my cutlery before I used it . Won’t be back.

                        Not very friendly & helpful staff, poor service , only 2 cocktails available from the menu , desserts & main arrive with wrong food items but not replaced… Food was tasty & well cooked
