   A short menu with a mix of the usual Italian dishes. All well prepared; great service. The room itself is a highlight, high ceiling, great finishes.

   I have been going to Buca for years and Cucina Buca since they opened. I live right at Yonge and St. Clair and always book personal and business lunches/dinners there if I am working from home. Today the service was absolutely awful with the server not greeting us properly, not asking if we wanted to see the drink menu , challenging me when I said I had had lasagna there in the past ( until I showed him a picture of me and my friend with the lasagna and octopus dishes). He said he had been working there for 3 years and they never had lasagna. All this in front of my friends who were joining me for the first time. He made zero effort to explain the menu until I asked him to do so. To I point we decided to just order a few dishes to share instead of having a proper lunch. I was completely embarrassed because I had spoken highly about the place and with all options I have in the neighborhood I picked there today. Am I going back, probably yes because I like the food and it is pretty much next door to me but if I get the same server I will ask for another one. I always have an espresso martini there, I always finish or a nice wine but today he didn’t even bother asking nor giving us the menu. My friend kept saying, how come he didn’t offer anything to drink at an Italian restaurant.

   A true gem at Yonge and St Clair! Food was delicious, extremely high quality, excellent service and clean, modern aesthetic. Will be back again.

   I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant with a friend. Unfortunately, it missed the mark. I had a reservation and was left waiting at the reception area without anyone addressing me even though wait staff passed me multiple times. They directly looked at me and moved on. Odd. I finally had to ask if I was standing in the right place waiting for my table. Finally, someone came and took me upstairs to our table. The waiter seemed dismissive and actually turned and walked away from us at one point when we were going to order. We ordered the scallopini and the lamb shank. While both meals were delicious, they arrived room temperature at best. Someone had left them sitting somewhere before bringing them to our table. We would have asked for them to be re-heated but, the service was lacklustre (the waiter seemed like he was not into it), so we just ate. For dessert we had the panna cotta. We also had to order two ice creams to try each flavour because, apparently they will not give you two different flavoured scoops in one dish- even though each serving is 2 scoops of ice cream. This makes no sense. All in all, for my hard-earned money, there are many other restaurants to spend it in with better service and hotter food and more accommodating overall. My friend and I both said we would not return. Three stars because the food itself is good albeit, cold.

   Lovely! The menu was delicious and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The waiter was personable which made it nice.

   Our 2nd time here - asked for 2nd floor - much better in terms of noise level. More intimate. Food very good in all courses. Service was spotty but understandable due to restaurant being full for Valentines Day Will consider for future nights out

    We came here for winterlicious and loved it! My first time here, and I really liked the atmosphere and the portion sizes were massive
