Service was fine. Staff seemed friendly. Hoping for more attentiveness because I feel bad when I shouldn’t, to need something that I had to try to get the staffs’ attention. Whether it’s for water or the order was incorrect.
Food was delicious.
I wanted to order dessert but I was too full and in a food coma.
They had a person playing guitar and singing love songs in Arabic and in English. Couldn’t really hear or understand but still nice to have in the background while having dinner.
Ordered some antipasti: Burrata Di Andria (so fresh & yummy! My favorite!), Carpaccio Di Manzo, Tartar Di Salmone & all were tasty.
Hubby ordered the Pennette All' Arrabbiata & it was a bit spicy for him. I like spicy so to me it was that spicy & it tasted good. Ordered the Gnocchi & it was alright. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but not the worst.
Some minor hiccups with the entree was that I order the Risotto Frutti Di Mari but they gave me Spaghetti Fruiti Di Mare instead so I had it sent back. Also, the Risotto Frutti Di Mari states that it comes with Shrimps, Calamari & Mussels. I asked for no shrimps. So when they sent my correct dish, it had no shrimp, which is what I asked for but it only had calamari & no mussels. It got sent back the third time & the staff seemed annoyed. I wasn’t rude or making any big deal about it other than address what I ordered & it’s what I am paying for. The staff tried to tell me that the Risotto Frutti Di Mari doesn’t have mussels & I showed them their menu that states other wise. Third time the charm.
On a positive note, some people were celebrating their birthdays with cakes & lovely singing & there was a couple having dinner where the guy proposed to her. It was all lovely.
Unfortunately, they do not validate parking which some restaurants in hotels does for their customers that I have been to.
But I would recommend to give this place a try for anyone who hasn’t. I would like to give this place a visit again once I’m in Egypt again.
