Great service, exceptional cocktails, and incredible flavors. My husband and I travel often and consider ourselves foodies and this meal was top 5 of all time for us. Fun place to go with great food and drinks. Wait staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I always enjoy Sam Fox restaurants. There just seems to be a solid backbone of culture in the company, The service is always great - shout out to Aton at Culinary Dropout last night. The food and menu options are always spot on - there is a good selection of mocktails for the alcohol aware. The ambiance, decor, and entertainment options are usually good as well. The food was really lovely - and perfectly proportioned. The restaurant was very clean with a modern decor. The covered patio was very loud but the restaurant was able to move us inside so that everyone in our party could hear better. The only issue we had is one menu item arrived cold. We then notified our waiter, but it took another 30 minutes for the meal to come back. B y that point, most people had finished eating. We had a pretty good meal. The server was great, very attentive. This is a great spot, it has a great atmosphere. The whipped feta appetizer was a 10/10. The brussel sprouts were a 8.5/10. The house salad was an 8/10, I really liked the buttermilk ranch. The fried chicken was a 6/10 and the short rib was a 5/10 way too much sauce on this dish. We had such a lovely night with our fabulous hostess finding us a cozy spot that we love. Alli, our favorite manager, welcomed us, and Nesta, a spectacular waitress, ensured everything was served just right. the food took SOOOO Long to get out. the poor waitress was so frazzled as they were out of everything we wanted: Brussel sprouts, french dip even the salad with butternut squash… which is so hard to believe as its in every grocery store this time of yr- just go buy some. very disappointed! i never write reviews. this one was very much needed. what a bummer. we took 3 guests so we were a table of 5 pretty disappointed. our waitress was so sweet though- no complaint there.Culinary Dropout - Denver已於2024年11月12日回覆Hi Nancy, Thank you for your feedback, and for visiting us at CDO Denver over the weekend. Something not so great has happened here. We have eaten here several times and have had a wonderful experience but admittedly not recently until last night. The table had dirty utensils. A glass of wine was delivered with lipstick on the rim of the glass (the glass was not properly washed). One in our party ordered the "36-hour ribs" and stopped eating after the first few bites. Someone else in our party ordered the salmon and thought it was a child's serving. We invited friends who are visiting town to join us in what we expected to be a great experience and it was just disappointing.
