Well. For starters. I booked a reservation through OpenTable, for the NYE Experience that was promoted / listed via OpenTable…. For the 1000 Marietta St location. I confirmed via message that teenagers were allowed. Great. When we arrived for our 11:30PM reservation we were met with “well, we can seat you but we close at midnight.” Excuse me? It came across rude - like I’m not wanted there because of the TIME. So I immediately went back to the post on OpenTable. I knew I wasn’t tripping. It said THIS location. My night was a flop - thanks to the false advertising. It’s imperative that businesses that USE these platforms take the time to review, update and ensure the information is ACCURATE. Furthermore, the waiter/host emphasized that their location didn’t participate in this experience and it was “probably” something for the Dunwoody location. Why wasn’t it listed under that location then? Just a hot mess, on NYE. Very disappointing for me. Needless to say, the food, for me … was not 4 or 5 stars. And I’m not just saying that because of how things turned out. I ordered the shrimp fried rice $25 - the portion was small, it was very spicy … basically too much spice to enjoy. I don’t know if that was intentional. But Gordon Ramsey wouldn’t have liked that either lol. Because we arrived between 11:30-11:45 the bar was “closed” - so that was another added thorn in my side. It takes 2 min to make me a drink. That’s the least they could’ve done. Anyway. Will I be going back? Probably not. I just can’t get past the fact that the information was wrong. Really ruined the experience for me. I didn’t really like the menu options. I was also advised to scan a QR code to access “accurate” info about their events. No thanks. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. I didn’t even get any pix of the food. Too busy being upset about my “experience.”
