Cynthia is a neighborhood bar and bistro featuring beautiful pasta, creative burgers and shareable starters, veggies and salads. Our beverage program showcases reimagined timeless classic cocktails with creative and modern twists, and a thoughtfully curated selection of beautiful wine from both regional vineyards and renowned global producers. We look forward to reintroducing Cynthia to our friends and neighbors, and welcoming new faces to our neighborhood bar and bistro.

A service fee of 20% is added to every check. This fee is used to pay the wages of our staff. We are committed to providing a stable and equitable pay structure. This structure ensures consistency for our staff across both the front and back of the house. An optional tip line to acknowledge exceptional hospitality if you so choose

First time there and will be back again. Brussels sprouts and Cynthia burgers were delicious. Great wait staff. Owner was very engaging. Noise level was just right!

Everything was phenomenal both their cocktails and food! Full of flavor and cooked to perfection! The place is adorable inside, such a cute spot for date night or drinks and bites with friends! Cannot recommend more!!!

They were short staffed but the waiter busted his butt to do a good job while splitting time greeting people as the host.

We are so excited to have visited Cynthia (after pledging to never cross the threshold while it was the cheeky play on poor grammar before!). Tasty food, delightful drinks, wonderful service all wrapped in a lovely setting. We definitely recommend and will be back! Thanks to the staff for a great experience in the H St. area!

We had a great dinner experience at Cynthia! The drinks were good, the meal was great, and Phil, the owner, made friendly conversation us. We’ll definitely be back when we visit DC again.
