Da Andrea Restaurant is a locally-owned and operated, it is a Northern Italian restaurant in the heart of West Village, New York City that has been around for more than two decades.

Da Andrea offers traditional Italian cuisine, regional specialties, seasonal dishes, an extensive wine selection and craft cocktails for our guests to enjoy. The restaurant's specialty is homemade, handcrafted fresh pasta, which we have perfected since we have opened. The chefs also offer delicious homemade entrees and risotto that are made with fresh, local ingredients, that use traditional Italian recipes. Our menu is designed to offer something for everyone, and the restaurant has been recognized for its excellent food and service.

My wife and I shared the entrees and mains including the osso bucco with polenta and it was real enjoyable. Our daughter has a dairy allergy and the chef was most accommodating to cater for this. Highly recommended for a small group.

It’s always a great pleasure to go to Da Andrea. I’ve been going there for my anniversary now for the past 2 years. The service is always phenomenal and the food is always amazing. The person in charge of the reservations was great and gave us a nice table to celebrate our evening. I appreciate him very much! Will always recommend anyone to go there for special occasions or even just a casual dinner!

The food was absolutely amazing as always, but since new ownership took over it was very obvious that service had changed. We were rushed from the moment the menu went in our hands. My entree was delivered and set awkwardly to the side while I finished my appetizer. I asked if they had time for dessert and they hesitated. I said never mind and then they kept trying to sell it me once they realized I didn't want to be rushed. There's lots of amazing Italian in this neighborhood, at this price point go somewhere you won't be rushed.

Very cozy location. They were a little backed up on their reservations but only by 30 minutes. The food and service was exceptional.

Food was outstanding, not a long wait, very quaint atmosphere, staff was very accommodating and food did not take forever to come out. Would definitely go back again.
