    Whether you're experienced in Korean BBQ or not, Daebak Korean BBQ is the perfect place for Korean BBQ. Our servers are great at introducing guests who are new to the Korean BBQ experience. We will do all the cooking for you and give a short explanation on how best to enjoy. For those who are experienced, just let the server know you want to do your own cooking and enjoy! Our most premium package, the Wicker Park Combo serves 3-4ppl at $150 or 2 for $99 and comes with our biggest variety of side dishes, Tomahawk Kalbi, Thinly Slice Brisket, Thinly Sliced Pork Belly, Marinated Pork Collar, and your choice of Spicy Pork backbone stew, Budaejjigae, or Spicy Chicken Stew.

    I overall had a good experience here. My only slight disappointment was that it was me and my bf first time there and we needed a little assistance on the process to eat and experience the food. After mentioning it was our first time, he kind of just stood there. He wasn’t rude, just…there I guess. I thought he’d be more thorough and inviting on making sure we understood how things are done or even giving suggestions. He proceeded to bring food out and just cook…he didnt’ explain what the other items were on the grill…we just had to keep asking…he’d answer…but eventually we just figured how to enjoy our meal. Again good experience I think the waiter should be a lil more helpful and open to new comers.

    I would rate my experience as a two out of five stars. There were a few areas that could use improvement. First, we were unaware of the service charge, which I believe was mentioned on the website, but I missed it. Additionally, we ordered two bottles of soju, and one of them arrived warm, which affected our enjoyment of it. When I mentioned this to one of the waitresses, she promptly took the bottle away and returned with what she claimed was a new one. However, it was a bit concerning to see that it had been opened prior to reaching our table. While the food was decent, these service-related issues led me to feel that I wouldn’t choose to return. I appreciate the effort from the staff, but I think there are definitely improvements that could enhance the overall experience.

    This is my favorite Korean bbq place to go to in Chicago. The quality of meat is superb and delicious. The service is so nice, friendly, and courteous. It’s nice that they help us cook the meat since we have to also tend to our crazy toddler. I love that they have small plates and utensils for kids. The only thing I hope they improve is the amount of condiments. They are a little stingy on these. They should refill these right away. Most Korean bbq places do this automatically and without having to ask. Overall, the place is fantastic and their ventilation system is phenomenal. Will go back again.

    Hello! My name is Kaeton and I dined at your Wicker Park location with friends today. It was phenomenal, and I wrote a review on Google. It's under the pen name Kate O. "The frenzy that is eating Korean BBQ is magnificent. Everyone's grabbing meats, drinks, veggies, spices, sides, and other ingredients. You're throwing them on a wicked hot grill in the middle. The quickness of your bold decisions surpasses any decision making you've ever had to do. Meanwhile, you're gasping for air because you're laughing so hard. You're gnawing on a piece of uncut meat while a friend messily vents. The table is filled with a million and one bowls of raw and cooked food. And a time was had. I was a bit more distracted than normal because of my friends. However, we knew we loved it all! We weren't mad at the price and appreciated Maria's wonderful service. Thank you, Daebak BBQ, for creating the perfect stage for communal warmth and reconnection❤️." Best,

    Absolutely wonderful place! Have enjoyed Daebak since the original location opened and this new location in wicker park has the same amazing quality plus an expanded menu! The Tomahawk Galbi was divine and so tender! Highly recommend
