    Fantastic dinner with great service from Armon. The deviled eggs are the best I’ve had. Also got the guacamole (very fresh). Had a very quiet table by lots of windows for people watching the x-mas shoppers. Really good cocktail choices. For dinner, I always get the short ribs and risotto. Amazing. My wife got the steak frites and said it was cooked perfectly. They have fresh pies but we chose the crème’s brûlée and it was amazing. We split it but I may have to get my own next time. Parking in the adjacent garage is free and convenient.

    Good and ambience was amazing, however our server stopped by at the beginning and then was MIA for almost an hour before us asking her if we could order our entrees. She was visibly more welcoming and interactive with other tables but presented somewhat disdainful toward us.

    I hate that your visit with us was anything less than exceptional. We strive to continuously improve our guest experience and it sounds like we missed the mark with your experience. I assure you what you experienced on your visit is not our standard and I would be disappointed if that experience was the last way you got to remember us by.     Our waitress was very helpful and friendly, she recommended some favorites and was able to give us a half and half carafe for our mimosas. My 1st course (elote -corn bread) was very tasty and my salad was delicious and a very good portion. Will definitely go back to try some of their other meals!

    The deviled eggs were nothing special, very heavy on the mustard and not much else. Tempura mushrooms were great. Shrimp and grits were the worst we’ve ever had, just zero flavor. Short rib and risotto had good flavor, but arrived to the table cold and gloopy. The bananas foster bread pudding is the banana pudding you make at home with store bought caramel, don’t waste your time. The Apple pie was served cold, it would benefit from being warm and ditching the same store bought caramel on top, but otherwise tasty. The “Drinks with Friends” and the “Bee Sting” cocktails were excellent. The “Nola” espresso martini was heavy alcohol with none of the flavors described on the menu. It was a fairly slow, empty night, but my wife and my presence seemed like more of a nuisance to the waitress. As a place that is advertised as a hangout, warm place, it just wasn’t.
