The hidden gem of Bexleyheath, the Danson Stables, is now reopen after a £300,000 investment.

Built in the 1700s and originally a stable block, our Grade-II listed building is surrounded by countryside and is the perfect place for locals to enjoy classic pub grub in a traditional and relaxing setting.

The pub boasts a selection of pale ales and craft ales – including Bexley’s Own Beer – that are rotated to bring Bexleyheath the best in regional, local and seasonal specials. Why not enjoy a pint by our brand new fire pit in our secret garden?

We have a range of daily offers running throughout the week, giving you more bang for your buck whenever you visit!

A new Afternoon Tea is also available for those looking for a special treat!

Qualify has gone down hill a lot. The staff are doing their best, but seems lacking in staff. Food quality is poor. It's not the chefs fault, that must just be given cheap poor quality products to use. I guess it's just the pub chain trying to cut corners to maximise profit. We've been many times over the years and it's getting progressively worse. I think that we'll no longer bother

Was a birthday breakfast and although we were the second table to arrive, we were left whilst they took orders from other tables. The breakfast was very bland, the sausages were pale, the egg over cooked and overall it wasn’t very hot. Would not return!

Service bad. Took long time to get order in. Table left dirty and had to ask them to clear plates. It wasn’t busy and plenty of staff but just standing around not in hurry to go back

We waited a long time for service! We have our drinks order and then waited again to give our food order!! After a time we asked where our drinks were and they had forgotten them. Half a hour later still no food and had to remind waitress we still were waiting. For the price when it finally arrived it was not worth it!! Won’t be rushing back….

Very quiet for Christmas season. Steak was out of stock. Food just warm. Ok to grab a bite or after a park walk. Beautiful building.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Stables. It was a shame that there was not a full menu but understand this was unavoidable. The staff were really friendly and helpful, as they always are. Look forward to our next visit
