When my party of 8 arrived on Mother’s Day, I was told they did not have my reservation because they were full??? Remember, I am on OpenTable, hence I have a reservation!
Luckily (or not) a large party was leaving and we got a table.
We sat down and it literally took 15 minutes for them to clear the table, after we had asked numerous times and cleared some ourselves!!!
Asked for water twice and that took at least 10 minutes.
At this point we started looking for another restaurant for breakfast.
Then we ordered coffee.
A Mexican Mocha Gusto - it was weak coffee, no espresso/mocha flavor and very sweet.
Two iced coffees- filled to the top, no room for creamer. Then went in to get almond milk, but it was sweetened with no warning.
Regular coffee was good.
Now the food!
Started with pastries, some were in wrapped in plastic and others in a display case.
Unwrapped the almond bear claw to cut it to share. Couldn’t cut it and it tried to tear it and it BROKE…. Very stale and hard as a rock vs. light and flaky!
Unwrapped a cinnamon roll, also stale.
The blueberry muffin from the case was very cold and so dense it nearly broke my knife.
Pecan bar was also cold and very hard.
I should have had them warmed up, I didn’t realize they were so cold.
Needless to say, pastries were awful.
We ordered two Bloody Marys and a Pinky, those were pretty good.
At this point we got a reservation at another restaurant and left.
I would not go back and would not recommend.
Realized after the fact that they don’t have a kitchen and the food is pre-made, if I had known that I wouldn’t have tried to go there for breakfast.
