Dark Horse Restaurant has appetizers like fresh baked cornbread skillet, fried calamari, and cheese boards.     My husband and I had dinner at Dark Horse last night while in Riverhead. We both had the pork chop with mango chutney, which was tender & delicious. It was accompanied by roasted potatoes and asparagus, which was yummy. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We had an enjoyable evening, and would definitely return here.

    Food was great! Pate was so good, with crackers and dips, steak frites, perfection and to die for roasted potatoes plus Caesar salad, clam chowder and crab cakes. Could not stop saying how wonderful the food was. Service too was great along with the ambience, a perfect dinner experience!!! Will be back!

    Wow one of the best pork chops I have ever had. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Big enough for two meals. I look forward to having the leftovers tomorrow

    We had a great lunch at Dark Horse! Portions were large, service was excellent and the food was delicious! The duck wrap was huge and delicious. The trio grilled cheese, onion soup and salad was more than enough for lunch. Wonderful spot in the middle of Riverhead!
