Dublin's most famous pub, certainly in a literary sense, with its Joycean associations. Always classy and fashionable. It's the original Dublin gastropub at over 100 years old.
Anybody who is familiar with Dublin pub food will be aware of Davy Byrne’s food reputation, in which seafood is the speciality.
If you visit the premises at lunchtime and evening time, you will witness the huge trade which is done in fresh Seafood, Wagyu Burgers and pub classics like Fish & Chips. There is also a full range of Salads and Sandwiches to compliment these and, as often as not, you can enjoy Oysters and Guinness.
The classic Gorgonzola sandwich with a glass of Burgundy as mentioned in Ulysses is available every day.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate strollers/buggies indoors at Davy Byrnes but subject to availability, we can at our outside terraced area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

                                                            cannot fault the food or service as both really good but the seating is terrible! I booked for 5 people but when we arrived there were two round tables set for 4, they then wheeled a round table to be put in between them for the 5th person. I think they need to make up their mind if they are a pub or a restaurant , if the food hadn't been good it would have been a disappointing night.

                                                            Really enjoyed the whole experience in Davy Brynes We had booked for 3 15 but found yourselves at a Loose end at 2 pm and went early to see if we could be accommodated and we where. The staff could not have been more helpful.Looking forward to going again for more fabulous food and beverages

                                                            Excellent evening in Davy Byrnes. Food was top notch and service very good. Charcuterie board to share as a starter followed by Beef and Guinness pie and Cottage Pie ( the special - very tasty). Overall would highly recommend.
