DAY'S StoneGrill 1870 is a steakhouse where you can go for lunch and dinner. The pieces of meat come from all over the world, such as Argentina, New Zealand and Canada. What can I say baully and his team are amazing and friendly and deliver a very professional service .the overall atmosphere in the restaurant is chilled and relaxed , I love you get to cook yourself own steak on a stone makes dinning more fun , the quality of the steaks are fantastic and well worth the price I would highly recommend this restaurant when you are visiting Amsterdam . You could try walk in , but I would advise that you book in advance to ensure a table . When I ate here the whole experience from start to finish was amazing

I’ve been there with 3 friends, They ordered Sirloin I got the T-Bone. The sirloins were tender and good, the T-Bone was terrible, gummy and hard to cut. When the waitress came and asked I told her there was issue only with my meat, she said “sorry about that”. She didn’t try to make up for it, so at this point I wonder why would you ask how was the meat, if when the client tells you the meat was no good you do nothing about it? I wasn’t expecting any discount or such, but they could have least tried better.

Dear Marco, First of all thank you for your visit. However we ask every course if everything is alright and you said everything was perfect. Once we take plates again we ask for the second time and then you gave us the feedback of the t-bone, but you finished the t-bone totally and didn't leave anything behind, that is also why we couldn't do anything as you didn't mention it before and the plate was already finished. We hope to welcome you again in the near future! Team DAY'S

Went here for a dinner. We reserved it, since it gets crowded in the evening and it is not a big place. It does look nice, mostly in wood with relatively small tables that actually work nicely. Service was quick, efficient and very friendly all the way with helpful tips what to order for two. We ordered an Argentinian cote de boeuf steak for two with some sauce and pommes on the side. The strak comes prepsred very rare and you can cook it to whichever level you want on the hot stone on your table. I basically kept it as is and it was really really good, tender and melting in the mouth. The 900 g steak with a small bone was exactly enough for the two of us. I drank red Malbec wine from Argentins with it on glasses which matched it nicely. They have a solid wine list, could be a bit bigger. All together would love to come back, excellent steaks with great service.

We expected more. Firstly we were given a set menu which was priced higher and were not told we can order A la carte which a table next to us got. The food was not very tasty. French fries were industrial Mcdonald like and meat was simple. They have a concept that you grill your own steak on a hot stone, we didn't like it as it felt like work. Overall experience was not a positive one. Sorry.

El lugar es bueno, la carne excelente, el servicio fatal y muy ruidoso. Pero si es de lo mejor quencolomos en Amsterdam

I found the meat to be of good quality and serving it on a hot plate was a nice idea. However, the price seemed a bit steep for what was offered. Unfortunately, the service was rather sloppy. It was evident that there was chaos behind the bar, with the owner overseeing everything and even drying cutlery in the middle of the dining area. Overall, while the food was decent, the service experience leaves a little to be desired. I'm unsure if I would recommend this place

Over rated - not a fine restaurant but a noisy, smoky restaurant bar that serves burgers, fries, beer,etc. like a sports bar similar to many family chain restaurants in US.
