What Dear John’s is to steak, Dear Jane’s will be to seafood. Seasoned chefs and entrepreneurs Hans Röckenwagner and Josiah Citrin have teamed up again for Dear Jane's. Taking full advantage of the stunning marina view, the focus is on classic American seafood dishes prepared simply with the highest-quality ingredients by seasoned chefs. From Oysters Rockefeller to Shrimp Louie, Surf ‘n Turf and Crepes Zuzette, the menu hews to those of some of the most legendary seafood restaurants of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It will feel familiar and upscale, yet updated and approachable.

This sensibility will be on full display with hand-mixed tartare, classic caviar service, and professionally fileted whole fish. The layout of the split-level room and spacing between booths and tables are ideal for this personalized service that is begging to come back in style in this dining room.

Overall we had a marvelous time. I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house. We had a lovely view of the water. The service was outstanding. The food was terrific.

Ordered Cioppino, there was no clam meat in the shells. The meat in Mussels very small. Shrimp was fine. Sauce was good Was disappointed for the price, small portions

I’ve been to many upscale restaurants before but never in my life was charged $7 for tap water and we paid for valet ( which was $12) BUT WE PARKED OUR OWN CAR! The food was mid, try somewhere else if you’re going for better food but the ambience is nice and you get a view of the ocean.

Beautiful venue on the marina with fabulous interior in a 50’s-60’s vibe. Delicious caviar prep, fried calamari, sea trout amandine, poached halibut, steak, wedge salad, whipped mash potatoes, and a Black Forest brownie with cherries, and ice cream! Our waiter Robert, and his team were wonderful!!!

Nice dinner all around: service to food was efficient and very good. Quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Tables not too close together.

Food was exceptional, especially the clam chowder. A nice treasure tucked away. Perfect for a celebration at just dinner with friends.

They charge you for tap water… that’s a little ridiculous. Also, we were celebrating a 75 th birthday, and they don’t even have a small scoop of ice cream or anything to have a candle.. for the prices they charge, you think they would… service was great, food good, but nothing extra special… overpriced
