Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!
Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Nico Bakh is partial to a homey dish called lobio, a bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, complete with a side of fermented vegetables and a Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

    So glad I finally tried this place and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent, fresh and flavorful. Staff was friendly. I highly recommend coming here and will be back.

    Our first experience at DEDIKo for our anniversary and it really made for a nice evening. Service was good, we arrived a bit early for our reservation and were promptly seated. The restaurant is very small so I would say this place is one you absolutely need a reservation. The server was helpful and polite and at my request gave us some recommendations of things to try. Their house salad was my favorite, along with the Adjaruli (cheese bread). We also got their Lobio Pot, which is a bean stew. My husband liked this more than I did. We split an order of the Khinkali dumplings (beef & pork) which were also tasty. I'd look forward to trying this place again and defintely get a different entree next time to try. Place was fresh and inviting and their outdoor seating was really nicely appointed, definitely a good spot to sit in the warmer months. I'd highly recommend DEDIKo!

    Perfect for a rainy day! The dumplings and kachapuri are done perfectly and are so comforting. Everything is flavorful but not overly so, just a great place for when you are looking for something a little different

    Great food and service! Recommend to book ahead like a day or so they are very busy but the wait is worth it for sure.

    I sat outside for lunch, which was very pleasant but it is right next to a busy road so there's some traffic noise. The food is fantastic and the service was excellent. Definitely worth going to, especially if you've never had Georgian food before. I think if I'd sat inside, the ambiance would have been very nice. It's a cozy little place. Definitely recommend making reservations.

    Food and service are both great. We sat outside. It was nice with a heater above us, while we could enjoy the beautiful sunset. Will definitely be going back.
