   We were first seated under an air vent that was very cold, you could actually see my friend’s hair blowing from the draft. We asked to be moved after we ordered our food and they said it wasn’t possible because all tables were reserved. She said we could move to the bar so we took our drinks to the bar. My friend went down to the front desk and they moved us downstairs. They tried to make us pay the whole bill at the bar when we hadn’t even gotten our food. The bartender stopped us from leaving the bar area and it was embarrassing. Finally she said I will walk you downstairs. The downstairs server was slow to bring requested items like bread but he was nice. We waited a really long time to get our check. Won’t be going back!

   The food was horrible. Order the $70 ribeye and it was less than a 3/4 inch thick. The seabass was bad and smelled horrible. Spent over $250 for two people and three drinks and the food was awful. Not to mention the drama from a party that we were sat near in the corner.

   The food was well prepared and the service was great. The view from our window seat provided an opportunity to see DC in motion. I tried the smoky old fashion….worth the experience!

   This is our favorite restaurant when visiting Washington DC. Perfect for a dinner to celebrate a special occasion or maybe dinner before a show at the Kennedy Center. The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Always a treat my wife and I look forward to. It has never let us down!

   The service and atmosphere is always great. Normally the food is too. I tried the Wagyu Beef Cheesesteak and was sorely disappointed. They ruined the meat with overpoweringly salty cheese and overcooking. Perhaps Wagyu should not be molested this way. I also had a delightful non-alcoholic rum and watermelon mocktail which was good and a standard side Caesar. There was no salt/pepper on the table. I only noticed because I wanted to add some pepper to my salad.

   I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, which is located among high-end boutiques like Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Bvlgari. The simple lobster macaroni and cheese is a must-try, and the Chilean sea bass served with fried rice offers a delightful, crunchy texture that is also delicious. I would definitely return when I'm in town.

    Though the food was good, the service was excellent! Sylvia was attentive to our every need. My 83rd old Auntie loves coming here and has been coming for years. She wanted to have her birthday dinner here, and Sylvia helped Auntie make new memories!
