Arrived at Del Frisco Double Eagle at 4:50 for a 5:15 pm Christmas Day reservation. Checked in with hostess and let her know we were going to be a party of 5, not 6 as originally booked. "No problem, your table will be just a moment" At 5:15 I get a text that my table is ready. When I approach the hostess, she states "you booked Del Frisco Grille, not here" I questioned how she checked us in and let us stand around for 25 min. She stated, "oh well". When I inquire where Del Frisco Grille is I was told a couple of blocks away. I asked for address or directions but was told to "use my phone, it's not difficult." Fortunately, as we were walking to the Grille the hostess called to see if we were on the way. I explained what happened and she assured me that my table would be held while we bobbed and weaved through the crowds on the street. Once there it was a lovely evening. Food and service were great. Perhaps the hostesses at Double Eagle could try to be a little more patient, helpful and kinder like the girls over at The Grille.

Great service. Great food. Filet was cooked perfectly. Loved the Cheesecake and the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. Comfortable seating and easily held our conversations without distractions

I booked this restaurant during my stay in New York, and it did not disappoint. The place was super busy, likely due to its location in Rockefeller Center, but we still received our food quickly. However, we had to wait a long time for our drinks since the bar was full and only two bartenders were working.

The food came out cold and it was slow. Our reservation was at 5 and we did not get seated until 35 minutes late.

Unfortunately the restaurant was so busy and poorly staffed that we didn’t have time to eat our meal. It was so slow and the staff did not seem to be in any hurry to provide service. Starting in the bar as we waited for the other members of our party, it took 10 minutes to order a drink. When the rest of our party arrived, we searched for someone so that we could pay for our drinks, but yo no avail. We finally went to our table and told our waiter we had a bar bill. The staff brought the bill over and rudely accused us of not paying. After one hour of waiting for our food, we ended up having to go. Our waiter replied in a snarky manner that it is a busy restaurant. Why take reservations if you are unable to serve your customers?
