We were excited to try this newish restaurant. We were seated in an outdoor patio, enclosed with heavy ,clear plastic and overhead heaters. The room was very comfortable but initially the heater felt like a tanning booth. It was pretty to look at the fountain and lights.
They had some interesting looking cocktails on the menu, and the bar in the main part of the restaurant looked nice. My husband said the wine list looked really good. Wines by the glass were 6 or 9 oz. pours so they were heftier than the usual glass.
We tried the hummus and tzatiki with pitas which were all good. The pitas were freshly made. My husband had the flatbread with lamb sausage and that was very good, nicely spiced sausage and a marinara like sauce. I started with the broccoli rabe with a romesco which was perfect. It was a side dish ($12) and was a small portion.
I had the snapper entree (and was interested to learn that it was farm raised)with an herb sauce that was delicious, like a chimichurri, but the fish was less than stellar. It was a large portion of fish (two pieces). It was cooked properly but maybe wasn't the freshest. It was served with a delicious eggplant, blistered cherry tomato mix. The entree at $37 was one of the lower end pricing. Entrees went up to the mid $50s. The server said the lobster spaghetti has been a favorite but we didn't try it. He said, when I asked, that the lobster tail+ was served on top of the marinara - also a high $50 entree. The entree pricing was comparable to ones we have seen in Naples, FL where they have their other restaurant, but seemed high for Columbus.
Service was good.
