In an attempt to honor the history of our beautiful building, the third Melon Bank ever built, we pay homage to its past! We chose period correct lighting and finishes from 1940 to bring it all together!

Della Terra which translates to “of the earth” transforms the essence of a small town eatery. Centrally located in historic downtown Zelienople, our goal is to capture the warmth and comfort of an Italian trattoria. Chefs reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that pulls inspiration from the Italian cooking tradition to create meaningful food, celebrating the restaurant’s ongoing relationship with its local family of farmers and suppliers.

Della Terra is open continuously throughout the day, serving an ever changing roster of lunch paninis, pasta, pizza, entrees, snacks and daily dishes. With a beautiful bar, we welcome a late night atmosphere, offer a daily happy hour, and also serve the finest locally roasted c

Disappointing dining experience. Not crowded at all, but took 30 minutes to get our appetizer and 45 minutes to get our dinners. Their food was good, but for the price of the meals, the overall service was poor at best.

Server was less than helpful. Pastas tasted good. The dessert was not very good and was burnt (the apple dessert). Not worth the price if you’re not going to get exceptional service and food all around.

We were seated towards the front of the restaurant and it was absolutely freezing. It was not exceptionally cold outside so this was disappointing. I dined with my winter coat on the entire time
