Nestled in the picturesque and historic Holme Valley; tucked away between ancient woodland and the gentle ebb and flow of the winding River Holme… lies Devour, a stone’s throw away from the cobbled streets of Holmfirth.

We’re located in a beautifully restored former Wood Turning Mill and Dyehouse, with Riverside Garden and Wild Flower Meadow, with decor embracing our post-modern industrial heritage with the warmth and energy of an Italian Piazza.

    This was mine and my partners 4th trip to the restaurant in under a year. Every time the staff and food have been spot on. I have no faults for this place, definitely worth the money for the food and experience you get.

    Lovely setting and restaurant and bar area have a great stylish decor and welcoming feel upon entry. Ambience and noise level feels good when restaurant is full. Only negative is when parked furthest away from entrance is that anyone wearing heels is that walking on car park construction is very difficult! Range of menu options is very good for meat and fish eaters but vegetarian options are limited which was disappointing. Overall, an enjoyable experience and one that we will come back to.

    We went for our Valentine’s Day meal and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Everything about the meal truly was 5-star.

    I went for a special birthday celebration with family and friends and had themost lovely memorable evening. Service was great and ambiance perfect buzzy and yet felt private on our table. Would definitely recommend a visit. Food tasty and well priced . Look forward to eating there again.
