First time here since they reopened as DiiMaggios (used to be Blind Pig). This is now a warm, cozy Italian restaurant with Chef Brandon and crew serving up excellent food. Note: they no longer have brunch, open Wednesday thru Sunday evening, but that’s ok. Now they can focus on what they do best. They totally remodeled inside and out. Inside has nice dark walls, lots of pictures on the walls, felt like we were in a restaurant in Little Italy. They also have one of the best patios in Oldtown Scottsdale. All tables with white tablecloths. For dinner we started with a Shrimp Scampi app, 4 huge shrimp in a buttery garlic sauce. Dinner we shared the Lasagna. Tip: they only make so many Lasagnas on Friday and Saturday so if you want this suggest you get there early, it sells out. And is delicious! Layers of pasta, cheese, meat and sauce, and the serving is huge. We brought home leftovers. The couple we were with had the mozzarella and tomato app, lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana which they said was excellent. We finished off with a shot of homemade Limoncello.

Our waiter was amazing. Great suggestions and checked in often. Drinks and appetizer took a little longer to come out and he quickly took care of them, removing it from our check. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. We were celebrating an occasion and were surprised with some tiramisu which was amazing!

This was our first time there and we loved it. My husband had baked clams that he hasn’t had since he left NY. He said they were delicious. The pasta bolognese was outstanding. Our server Eric was terrific and very knowledgeable. All in all we will definitely be returning.

Incredible italian food.... From the house pulled mozzarella to the lasagne and short ribs, all delicious and hand made. DiMaggios by far is one of the best Italian restaurants in the PHX.

The food was FABULOUS ! Service EXCELLENT ! Ambiance was a perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a neighborhood go to restaurant. Menu was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will make this my go to restaurant. This Italian restaurant could be the best in the Valley.
