District Winery, DC's first working winery, is located in the heart of Navy Yard at 385 Water Street SE. Our goal is to gather people together for all of life's moments - from dinner to weddings, we want to celebrate with you. Visit our restaurant to enjoy an exceptional seasonal menu, driven by our love of wine.

We are open for dinner every night and for brunch on Sat and Sun. The Tasting Bar is open Wed-Sun and features flights, cheese plates, and wine by the glass. Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm Mon-Fri with some of the best deals in Navy Yard. From 4pm-5pm, we only offer our happy hour menu.

We can welcome groups up to 20 with our Chef's Call dining experience, a chef-curated dining experience that takes the work out of planning. Please visit our website to inquire.

We are also a full-service event space and specialize in stunning weddings and private events of all sizes. If you are interested in hosting an event with us, you can learn more at districtwinery.com.

Featured an Easter Sunday menu special, of which I exquisitely enjoyed on my Easter Sunday the New Zealand lamb chops, amongst other regular menu items. Alongside their regular menu items, the other two specials were the lobster risotto and a pot de creme dessert. All courses were outstanding, well seasoned, cooked to perfection and perfectly or beautifully presented. The Restaurant at District Winery features large shareable and small plates alongside their wide varietal house made wines. Varied beers as well as creative cocktails are also on the dinner menu. Beautiful views in the bar, dining room and waterfront patio.

The bar and dining areas are relaxing, open airy and comfortable, many options for patrons on where to sit and enjoy, both the scenery, ambiance, and dining enjoyment. Compliments to all the chefs and staff, the chef's dishes from the menu were excellent, most enjoyable and very well presented. Service was well-timed and all the staff friendly and cheerful. While on a Sunday evening, not overly busy and noise level very low.

This is my go to happy hour spot, I decided to try for brunch and wasn’t disappointed at all! I had the Spanish eggs and my friend got the chefs selection omelette. I definitely will come to visit on the weekend besides week days!

The risotto was hard and watery. The gnocchi with the beef ragu was so soft it was almost like mashed potatoes. Portions were small, especially for some of the appetizers. The wine was good. Our server was wonderful. But, the food was such a disappointment and pricey. Don't expect to go back.

Our server Ami was wonderful and the place is a very cool building, nice ambiance. The location was very cool, although loud with the helicopters coming and going constantly. The food was not that great and overpriced for the quality.

District Winery does not disappoint for those either wanting to enjoy its specialty wines at its tasting bar or those afternoon and evening diners looking for a wonderful varied warm open atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area to enjoy varied cuisine, wines, cocktails and varied cheer. Portions are generous and very well presented, as well as staff are overall attentive and smiling. Great for singles just enjoying an evening out or for larger groups or families celebrating either something special or an event. There is always something for individuals to enjoy at District Winery!

Wonderful establishment for any and all to enjoy local wines and culinary experiences - great for any occasion, all age groups and friend and family get togethers. District Winery is a real gem in the woods of DC, meaning also a wonderful ambiance, wine and dining experiences that also are unique and tasteful that also don't break the bank.
