For any inquiries please call Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar - Waikiki at (808) 931-6286.

We are the first on Oahu to dry age our steaks in house. We only use 100% USA Source Certified Steaks – that are all natural, with NO growth hormones, NO antibiotics, and NO steroids. Our high heat double broiler seals in the juices and enhances the natural flavors. We are offering traditional sides- and enhancing the menu with favorite classics from Sansei.

We had a reservation for 7 and was told they were running behind. We were finally seated around 7:25. Not really upset about that, it happens. The service was SLOW. The food was decent.

Service is very good. Mashed potatoes fully loaded had great flavor. Generous portions of Ceasar and wedge salads were very good. Filets were cooked exactly how we ordered, but came to table cold. We did not want to wait for a reorder. Server apologized and comp’d the potatoes.

We were a table of 4. All enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner at dkSteakhouse. They were very busy so food came out slowly but we were in no hurry. The wait staff was very friendly and wanted to make sure we were being taken care of. Husband and I shared a Wedge salad, 10 oz filet (cooked perfectly to our request of medium) and 2 sides. We got a bottle of Champagne for the table. It was chilled properly. We will come back.

Arrived 5:25 for a 5:30 rez but didn’t get seated until 5:40(wasn’t busy). Seated on the patio as it was sprinkling. No umbrellas. Relocated ourselves inside as the rain came down more steadily. By 6:22 we still had no appetizers or entrees. Told it would be another 20min even though we told them we had to leave at 6:45. We left without eating anything. I’ve been a repeat customer at Sansei Kapalua for years…this was not remotely close to any experience I’ve ever had at Sansei Kapalua. I’m sure the food is great and we were really looking forward to eating there…

Our server was knowledgeable and good but she was only able to do so much. Our reservation was a 1/2 hours late. We sat at dinner table for almost 2 hours. It took over 45 minutes for food and no bread to hold hungry people over. Disappointed for the cost.

Our reservation was for 7:30 and we didn’t get seated until 8:15. Placed our order immediately and waited 45 minutes for our salad. Ordered a bottle champagne and it was not cold. Our entree did not arrive until 9:30 and it was cold. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Long wait for Appetizers and Main courses. Plates were lukewarm and steaks were burnt for a medium/rare temp. Service has significantly changed over the years…

Reservations were 6:30, by the time we ordered the food it was 7pm, my boyfriends food came T 7:30, and my food (sushi) never came even by 8pm and had to cancel and leave because we had other plans so I didn’t even get to eat. I should have been told the sushi chef was backed up at the start so I could order something else. 1hr of waiting for no food. Very disappointing and I’ve been coming to eat there often. Don’t offer 2 menus of you can’t handle the orders.

Food was great, it is just the world’s slowest kitchen… 7:45 reservation, ordered by 8:05 didn’t get meal until 9:20.
