For groups of 12 or more, we offer a compulsory tasting menu with a choice of 2 or 3 courses, featuring shared antipasti, handcrafted pasta, second and contorni for $75 per person, and optional dolci for $10 per person. Drinks are additional, and a 10% surcharge applies on Sundays, with 18% on public holidays. Our menu is pictured below.     We were a table of 6 sitting outside. The service was friendly and attentive enough but the music was a bit loud for us. One of our orders was missing a side dish order but the price was quickly adjusted. The food was a bit patchy. The pastas were great but the calamari was pretty ordinary (straight from a frozen bag?) and the salads were disappointing and not as good as DOC in Mornington. Overall it was a pleasant but not fabulous meal out.

    Food was below average. Bland and unseasoned. Cost was very high for what was below average food. Serving staff were friendly and efficient.

    What a place ! Warm vibe, friendly staff and best linguine marinara and mushroom pasta in Melbourne by far. Very reasonably priced too, will be back again soon with family. Grazie mille !

    Great food and the staff were lovely. Unfortunately there were extremely obnoxious customers at other tables that were very drunk, breaking dishes and yelling throughout our meal. It unfortunately really detracted from our meal as we couldn’t even hear each other talk over them. Truely disappointing, as the food was fantastic, but it ruined our birthday celebration. I recommend earlier dining as we ate at 8pm which may have resulted in more rowdy clientele. However, the staff should have stepped in and asked them to leave instead of serving them more drinks.

    Astounding. Spoiled ourselves with a range of dishes and they were all incredibly delicious. The service was also wonderful. Food also came pretty quickly for a packed restaurant. Highly recommend. Cant wait to come back!

    Decided to venture into Carlton for an Italian meal this evening - could not have picked a better place than the newly renovated DOC Osteria. I chose the lasagna as I had a craving for a hearty dish, and in wasn’t disappointed !! The meal itself was delicious and the serving size was more than ample. I was looked after by Ilaria who sets a very high standard in hospitality - she always has a smile on her face, no request is ever too difficult , checks to make sure everything is ok and anything else is needed, and makes the dining experience more comfortable knowing I’m in such genuine and honest care. Cannot recommend this place enough - food was delicious and the ambiance of sitting inside was delightful.
