    Food was good and service was excellent. However, when I got the check the pricing for a French Martini was very odd. Instead of one price they split the charge. The waiter explained he was told to charge us this way because more gin plus Chambord was in the drink and they didn't have a key for this type of drink. Only advice if something not on the drink menu might be good to ask the price.

    We have been to Doc Fords many times both in St Petes and Sanibel. Tonight it was off.. food overcooked and the servers were distracted and not attentive. I hope it was a one off and will get better

    Food was very good. We had the Caribbean Jerk Tostadas as an appetizer and the Triple Tail fish special of the day & the Seafood paella. Everything was excellent!!! S Service was great. Server was very pleasant and friendly!!!

    My husband and I have been visiting from NC on St. Pete Beach. A good friend recommended Doc Ford's on the St. Petersburg Pier as a 'go to' place to celebrate my brother and my March birthdays, highly recommending the grouper. He and his wife and my husband and I at out on the patio by the water. The weater was breezy and perfect. It was a bit noisey due to the table next to us but once they left we could easily converse. Our server, Kam, was excellent. Our food and drinks were delicious. We were, pleasantly, surprised with complimentary desserts for my brother and my birthdays.

    Lovely dinner overlooking Tampa Bay. You have to order the Yucatan Shrimp. Great service - friendly and helpful but not overbearing. Great food, especially the fish. Glad we sat outside because it was pretty noisy inside. But, there was live music that enhanced our dining experience. And there were plenty of heaters in case you felt a bit chilled. Will definitely return.
