Located in the heart of Downtown Portland, OR on the bustling corner of SW Alder & SW 12th, Dolly Olive centers around Southern Mediterranean ingredients and flavors, with an emphasis on an in house bakery program, fresh made pastas, and Italian aperitifs. Dolly Olive sports an inviting atmosphere featuring soft leather banquettes, warm wood accents, and custom patterned tiles.

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Dolly Olive. The food was so good and only outshined by the excellent service. I would definitely recommend Dolly Olive for a tasty Italian meal!

This was my second time visiting DO and it’s just wonderful across the board. The whole staff is just into ensuring you have a quality experience. From service, to food to the cool vibe music they play (not too loud). It’s a great place, book it!

First time there! Great experience, food was so yummy!! Drinks were super good too!!! Everyone was so nice & helpful!! The olives were warm, oh my!!! 😋 Definitely a place to check out!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️

The food was excellent, except, for us, the polenta was a little spicy (we do like food not spicy.). The vegetables were cooked to perfection, the chicken confit fell off the bone, other 2 dishes were buccatelli pomodoro and pork chop. Tiramisu was very rich, Fernet ice cream is worth a try if you like aperitifs. All ingredients were fresh. Service was a high B+/A-. No problems, but getting the server's attention occasionally took some time. The noise level is too high for us old folk. Apparently restaurants think they need loud background music for "buzz", but then everyone talks loudly to talk over the music. (Had the same problem with a recent. dinner at ClarkLewis. Fortunately we went early enough that we were just about through with dessert when they amped the volume.) Wish all restaurants would calm things down; the noise detracts from the experience.

Dolly Olive in Portland has quickly become one of my favorite spots. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu is a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I still can’t stop thinking about their handmade pasta—it was perfectly cooked and paired with sauces that were rich without being overwhelming. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual dinner or a special night out, Dolly Olive is definitely worth the visit.
