Domaine Mamo is located in Midtown Toronto, in the heart of Mount Pleasant Village.

Chef Leroy Didier has created a menu inspired by French-Italian regional cuisine for owner Robert Prete, we offer dishes celebrating the diverse influences of the Maritime Alps and the Mediterranean coastline.

Providing a warm and hospitable atmosphere, it is our goal to create happy and lasting memories for our guests.

First time visit.... Food and service were outstanding. Portions (appetizers and mains) are very nice, and easy to share. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely going back.

The owner was there helping and was so kind and personable BUT i found a giant ball of black hair in my takeout. It is a quaint restaurant that would be great to have a drink, but maybe don’t let them take it back to put it in a togo container. *Update* the owner contacted me and offered his apologies and a free entree, saying they are going through some staffing changes and still getting used to everything.

For my birthday I was looking for french, for comfort, something not downtown, and reasonably priced. That criteria led me here. Although my first time, it appeared that many patrons were probably regulars. Before we left our house, my gf was showing me pictures from a few other French restaurants saying I should change my reservation to one of those so we can take some nice photos. I have no desire to look at what someone else ate yesterday and nor should anyone care to look at what I ate. I’m into good food, not good-looking food. I knew the beef cheek was going to melt in my mouth when they didn’t bring a sharper knife, my hunch was correct, just like cotton candy. The bouillabaisse (did autocorrect spell that right?) was a great portion for the price and the salmon and halibut inside tasted great and was cooked to perfection. The whole dish was good, but those stood out for me. The papperdelle (where’s autospell correct now?) could have used just a touch of a flavourful sauce. Just a touch I think would have made that dish complete. And the mushroom soup was good, but could have been a touch thicker and/or creamier. The foie gras was good, although I preferred to spread it on the super fresh focaccia bread then the smaller hard toasts that came with the dish. The escargot definitely a guilty pleasure with all that melted cheese, perfect comfort appetizer on a cold night. The service was always very attentive and helpful and our waiter would stop doing other tasks in order to grab an extra fork or napkins or rush a food item for our young daughter, 5 out of 5 stars for service this evening. My gf is a much tougher critic than me when it comes to restaurants, and she had nothing but good things to say. I will assume that the restaurant may read these reviews so I just wanted to thank them for being part of our night out as a family. I will return with friends on occasion for a nice comfortable night out with good food and good people.

Our family was told this place was amazing and its in our neighbourhood so we thought we would give it a try. Very impressed with the feel/vibe but our server and the owner (Rob) went out of there way to make it a special experience. Oh ya, the food was good too!

Domaine Mamo is our favourite place to go for dinner and special celebrations. Food is exceptional and so is the entire team. They make you feel like family.

Service was impeccable and the food was delicious! Would recommend trying the croquettes (they change daily) and the panisse. The radiatori pasta is my daughter's favourite but you can't go wrong with any choice.
