Domenica translates to “Sunday,” in Italian, it is the day of the week to explore and cook leisurely, abundant meals. At Domenica restaurant, our chefs seek to transport guests to those coveted moments, offering passionately prepared dishes that marry pure, local ingredients with revered techniques.

While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

Domenica is always good. I eat there once a year when visiting and staying in the hotel. The ambiance is very good, the food is good and the servers work very hard to make sure that everyone is taken care of. All Italian, all the time. A fixture in NOLA

Server not friendly or very helpful. Long wait for drinks and seating. Food was just okay and came put timely, but nothing special about any of it.

We committed the cardinal sin of trying to add a fifth person to our 5:00pm reservation. After hemming and hawing, they let us add a seat to our four-top. We were grateful they tried to accommodate us. The staff consistently complained our table was too small for our drinks, apps, pizza, and meals. Every table was empty around us.

Outstanding food and so very creative. Vaughn, our server, guided us through the evening making sure everything was a wonderful,experience. At our table, we had veal, rabbit, meatballs with a twist. A wonderful food evening. Will go again and urge everyone to go and have a delicious meal.

Enjoyed our dinner. Great device and food. We shared pate appetizer, pizza and Caesar salad! Appreciate the complimentary sparkling water! And mini chocolate biscotti with cappuccinos!

Great food and amazing winelist. I was surprised to find \cesanese Del Piglio which is a regional wine even for Lazio. Highly recommended for Italian food lovers.

Had a business dinner and had to change my reservation count at the last minute. No problem! Food was great! Service was great! Heather was our server and had some great recommendations and was very personable adding to our great experience. Will eat here again when I come back to New Orleans!
