Domenica translates to “Sunday,” in Italian, it is the day of the week to explore and cook leisurely, abundant meals. At Domenica restaurant, our chefs seek to transport guests to those coveted moments, offering passionately prepared dishes that marry pure, local ingredients with revered techniques.

While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

                                                                                                        We had an amazing dinner at Domenica. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food exceeded all expectations. It's the best "Happy Hour" restaurant in town.

                                                                                                        We are local came to look at the Christmas Decorations in the Lobby Beautiful. Ate at Domenica . Pizza , 👍 pasta , meat balls 👍 asked for a table by the window they made sure we got a table by the window Thanks . Service by server she was excellent. Thanks for a nice dinner. Hope to be back soon

                                                                                                        I guess that the restaurant was short handed. Our waiter was really good and knowledgeable about the menu questions we had, but he had way too many tables to cover which created a long unexpected wait time that we did not have time for. I guess next time we will grab someone else to assist us sooner. We still tipped him accordingly

                                                                                                        We’ve eaten at Domenica many times and enjoyed it. This experience was definitely not up to par. The waiter was terrible; in a rush (it was not busy) and he was very dismissive. Additionally, the food was just average…and it was cold. Not likely to return. Too many other great places to eat in NOLA.

                                                                                                        We did not enjoy this restaurant at all! The burrata tasted like beef stroganoff. The waitress made you feel like you were at Denny’s. It looked and felt like a sports bar minus the TVs. The value was bad. The noise level was huge and we would never go back. We thought it was part of the Waldorf Astoria, and they told us no, the hotel was just their landlord. It was terrible!
