Domenica translates to “Sunday,” in Italian, it is the day of the week to explore and cook leisurely, abundant meals. At Domenica restaurant, our chefs seek to transport guests to those coveted moments, offering passionately prepared dishes that marry pure, local ingredients with revered techniques.

While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

                                                                                                        Some of the dishes were all stars like the turkey and the short rib. Some were misses like the main course fish and the appetizer with the pumpkin and blue crab. I thought the gnocchi was mediocre, but my son thought it was the best thing he ate.

Unfortunately there was only a thanksgiving menu that was really on average except for the price which was high Service was average too. A big disappointments for a big bill!

                                                                                                        Great food , mine and my wife’s anniversary, she had the berry merry , I had an old fashioned , bruschetta for an appetizer that was amazing! We shared a calabrese pizza and we very pleased with the food , service , and over all experience 5 stars a must try .

                                                                                                        Wonderful, prompt and attentive service. Had simple dinner of green salad and two pizzas. We could have chosen from much broader menu had we wished. Our meal was very good. Great creativity with the salad. The pizzas were a very well done and tasty pick. Overall, just what we wanted for a quiet evening and basic good food.

                                                                                                        Beyond horrible service - hostesses were atrocious. If I were the owner, I’d fire them immediately. What a horrible experience caused by their rudeness and incompetence. We will never go back after how we were treated.
