Orange County's newest upscale dining experience is now open on Lake Mission Viejo! Well known for our iconic location in Long Beach, Domenico’s was one of the first restaurants to serve pizza in California and is famous for our legendary pizzas and amazing Italian and American inspired dishes. Domenico's on the Lake is an upscale take on our original location featuring new steak and seafood entrees, while still featuring the original recipes that have made us an institution in Southern California.

NOTE: OUR LAKESIDE PATIO HAS LIMITED SEATING AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED BECAUSE THE DEMAND OFTEN EXCEEDS AVAILABILITY. PATIO SEATING REQUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO A WAIT.

    We are lifelong Domenico’s patrons. We came to celebrate two members of our family with 8 people total. We dined at 5 on a Friday and were the only people in our dining room. The waiter struggled with taking drink orders. He would take a couple drink orders then leave for awhile. Bring the drinks then only take a couple orders then leave again. Drinks were not brought in timely fashion and one person was still waiting for the hot tea even after food began arriving. We ordered two pizzas and one ground pepperoni was undercooked with the bottom crust not crisp like we are accustomed to. The other pizza was cooked just right. Otherwise everything else was fine just wish service had been a little better. With that being said we will always love Domenicos.

    Domenicos on the Lake never disappoints. Food was excellent, service was great, and it's one of favorite restaurants. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in outstanding food and wonderful staff.

    The location on Mission Viejo Lake is an exceptional feature. Hard to get lakeside patio seating, but that's to be expected. The wait personnel are well trained and outstanding at maintaining a customer first attitude. The food is truly great in both preparation, presentation, quality and flavor. I characterize this restaurant as a gem that is a great go-to restaurant whenever you want to dine out. This is a private owner-owned establishment. The owner is usually on site, and makes customers feel at home and appreciated. It's the attentive owner who I'm sure sets the tone and expectations of all the outstanding cooking staff and wait personnel! Family friendly.

    Every staff had poor demeanor, forgot our drinks not once, but 3 times after we asked. Bad attitude, “not my job” type of behavior. Was excited to eat here, now I won’t take my mother in law here ever again. :(

    Domenico’s is always a wonderful experience. Always greeted by friendly staff, the servers, the food and the ambience is a perfect date night. You can feel comfortable going on a dressy date or as we did, more casual without feeling out of place. Everyone just seems to be enjoying their food and company. Always a perfect evening at Domenico’s!

    Shrimp scampi excellent. Shrimp and pasta also good but scampi better. Chocolate lava cake nice. Service from Angelina attentive

    This is our family go to restaurant for Italian Food. We have gone there midweek and weekends, with small and parties (up to 10 people). The food is consistently great, the servers and staff always make us feel like we are part of their family, and the atmosphere is busy but never feels crowded or loud. The managers always come by to say Hi and make sure we are happy with our service and food. In the summer we love sitting outside where we can enjoy being right next to the lake. My personal favorites are the pizza, filet, shrimp scampi, and glazed salmon.
