DONHAO is a unique Modern Chinese Restaurant that is a gathering place for exquisite cuisine, blending traditional family recipes with modern techniques. Located in the Danville Livery, Donhao was established in August of 2024 offering Dine-in and Takeout for both lunch and dinner. Customers enjoy family-style meals with craft cocktails, beer, and wine.

Spreading the word! This was the best Chinese food I’ve had in YEARS. It’s maybe a little more expensive than most places, but the servings were substantial and very nicely presented and delicious. I suggest listening to the server’s recommendations (our server was Ash), and be sure to order the green beans. We ordered a second serving (four of us). We had two appetizers, two entrees, a Chow Mein and those two green beans. There was some jasmine rice too. Plenty of food with a few leftovers. Ambiance is austere but classy. And there’s a nice bar.

The dishes here have been very good and ambience is very warm and nicely designed. Happy to see a good Chinese restaurant in Danville. Their lunch specials are the draw for me to be able to have a little bit of everything. Prices aren’t unreasonable for the area. Would be great if they had weekday dinner specials. I’ll definitely be coming back and it’s in my rotation of restaurants now!

Wow, I had dinner here last night, the four of us, and the experience was excellent. First of all our waiter Julian was spectacular. About halfway through his description of the menu I stopped it. I said wow you’re really good. He connected with us he described the food perfectlyand some of their cocktails were very well balanced. Will definitely be back and this will be on our permanent order out for Chinese food as we can swing by and pick it up. Again book a reservation this is a great place to go.

We had a 10 out of 10 experience. Food was delicious. Great server who was fun to talk with but not hovering. A welcoming restaurant i hope to bring my adult kids over the holidays. Thank you

Best new restaurant in Danville. The best Chinese food i have ever had. Very fresh, not greasy. Delicious Hot and sour soup. We also had the Orange chicken, definitely the best orange chicken, fantastic friend egg rice . The Mongolian Beef was fantastic. Will going back very soon.
