DOPO, meaning 'after' in Italian, is an intimate dining experience in the lower level of Elizabeth Square in Marda Loop, Calgary. Inspired by D.O.P, its predecessor restaurant, DOPO has been reimagined by Executive Chef, David Leeder and Owner, Tony Migliarese. With strong opinions from Mamma Rose, of course.

                        So very delightful! The smoke olives are insane. Had whipped ricotta and pickled green onions with some perfectly fluffed bread. The. The citrus salad… will definitely be toasting some fennel seeds in my next similar salad and the rib eye steak was Devine…only wish there were more tiny bits of deliciously cooked squash… and can we have a monument of silence for the tiramisu. … YUMMY !!! Christian, you rock … just the absolute perfect balance of excellent service without being in any way m Annoying 😳solid 10 for service. Would definitely revisit  if I could possibly figure out how to get a reasonable reservation. Had dinner at 4:45 felt like an old person!

                        Nice little spot, all the dishes were fantastic and don’t forget about their tiramisu. Had to order 2 cause it was that good.

                        Very good. Bread, ricotta, green tomatoes, Gnocchi, Steak. All excellent. Excellent service. Chairs a wee bit uncomfortable and know it’s a busy place but felt a bit rushed out of the early sitting. All in all so happy it is in the neighbourhood.

                        In my 20 years of living in calgary i can wholeheartedly say this is one of if not the best restaurant in calgary. Ambiance is warm, the charming and friendly staff and my goodness the food.. unbelievable,lost for words. Came in for a birthday dinner and Tony and the rest of the staff made it an experience we’ll never forget.

                        I continue to be absolutely obsessed not only with the food, but the service. We had to wait a few minutes past our reservation time just because it was busy night, we also arrived early so no big deal. But while waiting we got some “bubbles for our troubles” & some free Prosecco. 10/10. Food outstanding. Service outstanding. Espresso martini gave me life. No notes.

                        Good. Not great. Considering they tell you the menu is a “sharing” menu. The portions are quite small. Especially for the price. For a place that you have to book a month out, not really worth the hype. DOP was better.
