The Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse, known to locals as the “DLB”, has a rich history of providing great food and service in a rustic log building overlooking beautiful Douglas Lake. The two giant fieldstone fireplaces offer the perfect dining ambiance during the spring and fall seasons. Summer guests enjoy drinks on the outdoor patio and dining on the lakeside deck or the screened-in porch.

Come celebrate New Year's Eve with us! Our special menu for the evening is a 4 course menu to include your choice of an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for $110 per person. The full New Year's Eve menu can be found on our website: Douglaslakebarandsteakhouse.com. Reservations start at 5pm and continue every 15 minutes until 10pm. Live music will start at 7pm. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Unfortunately when we booked our reservations no one indicated that they were serving a large Xmas party. We waited about an hour and half after our food order was submitted. I recommend that the manger should have let us know when we booked. Normally the prime rib is excellent except this day. Food was warm extremely excess fatty portions and wasn’t the normal quality that we always get when we eat there. The service was average nothing special. The restaurant was packed and with the party the kitchen couldn’t keep up so the regular customers just waited.

Great evening. Three of us had steaks. All were perfect. Marnie did a great job taking care of us. We love going when they open for the holidays

Tammy was our server,. She was excellent. We waited a long time for our main entree, about 45 minutes, but it was worth the wait, although it could've been hotter. Tammy was very apologetic about the time we waited, although it wasn't her fault. We will be back and we're requesting her!

Had a great evening out. Our server was Tammy. She was attentive, personable and knowledgeable. We had the fall grilled romaine salad, seafood chowder and the Bistro steak as entrees. Everything was cooked as ordered. Steaks were very tender and flavorful. The Christmas decorations made the cold evening a little brighter.

We travel over an hour, one way, to eat at DLB twice a year. We are never disappointed in the food. The steaks are incredible.

Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse was phenomenal! Making a reservation online was super easy. The food was fantastic & although the restaurant was packed, our meal was not rushed in any way! Everything was cooked to perfection the way it was ordered! Our server, Barbie was a real gem & hustled for all her tables, as did the entire wait-staff; everyone was moving all the time! The live music was a wonderful touch, as well! Again, the best word to describe our dining experience was phenomenal & we will definitely be return guests!
