Welcome to the Downham Tandoori
Downham Tandoori, the finest Indian restaurant and takeaway in West Norfolk. Using only the freshest, finest and most traditional herbs and spices we offer our customers the most scrumptious authentic Indian taste around. The restaurant is also fully licensed with a well stocked bar of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

We only employ professional Indian chefs which means our menu showcases a huge range of authentic Indian dishes. We cater for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike, with a great range of meals to suit everyone.

We celebrated a 60th birthday and the service and food was fantastic. We were not left waiting too long and the waiter was very good with the children.

We had an excellent time at this restaurant. The staff were polite & efficient. Food was very good. We were a table of 10 so we kept them very busy & they were fabulous. Highly recommended.

Felt the chicken was overcooked and food not particularly hot (not in spice). Have been before and enjoyed it but not this time unfortunately

The best Indian restaurant in West Norfolk! Been going here for years; food is exceptional, service is consistently first class and it’s always welcoming to be acknowledged and remembered by the staff….a true hidden gem and very popular for those of us that know.

Very large chunks of chicken - would be better at one quarter the size. Sauces tasty. Friendly service

Service was slow to take order but when food arrived quite quickly it was delicious and they also put up a banner for my adult son and at the end meal they brought him a lovely dessert out with candle lovely thought thanks
