The Aquarium Restaurant offers guests an exciting and unique dining experience in an extraordinary setting. Your underwater adventure begins as you are seated around the 150,000 gallon aquarium with excellent views of giant groupers, reticulated rays, majestic sawfish, and other fascinating creatures as they swim right by your table. The Aquarium is not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the palate. Make a splash with deliciously fresh seafood, steak, chicken and decadent desserts all served in an unbelievable underwater setting.

    The food up until the creme brulee dessert was REALLY good, but the chocolate baked into the creme brulee wasn't very good, but when I come back, I do plan on trying the other desserts.

    Our group of six had a great experience at The Aquarium. Kudos to our server, Adam. He did an excellent job & was very gracious when several in our group were late due to an accident on the freeway.

    Came ti celevrate a huge mikestone and left with pire joy! Evening was perfect. Food, options and especially the atmosphere! The employees are the best and were super engaged in making our experience feel VIP!!!

    Food was great, service was great, my daughter loved the aquarium there were so many fishes for her to look at. The tables spacing could be better it feels a bit jammed together especially on busy nights. It was rainy that night and we had to walk through the rain to get to the restaurant, covered entry from the car park would be great. Overall excellent experience would be returning.

    I love the Downtown Houston Aquarium! It’s always a fun and delicious experience. Our waiter Leonard was absolutely sweet, attentive, and professional. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience.

    There was a lot left to be desired with the food. For the amount of money it costs it certainly did not taste good. We actually had to send one of the plates back and get something else. The service was good and of course the Aquarium was beautiful.

    By booking thru open table, the fact that I booked specifically for the Thanksgiving buffet did not get transmitted to the Downtown Aquarium. When we got there, they had our reservation set for the main dining room and order from the menu. 🤬 Thankfully, the staff was able to shift gears and accommodate us for the buffet. But our party of 10 ended up at 2 separate tables. Would have been so much easier if the correct reservation information had been sent to the Aquarium.
