   What a lovely place to dine! We celebrated a family birthday. All 5 of us enjoyed the visit. From the time we checked in, we appreciated so many delightful surprises- the cheerful hostess , the chic but easy going and comfortable ambiance, wonderful creations from the bar, on point wine recommendations, all before dinner was served. The wait staff was so knowledgeable and helpful- our waiter was patient, informed and happy to help us celebrate. The Executive Chefs great attention to detail is obvious. DG's menu includes a nice variety and just enough selections to not be overwhelming with a few unexpected offerings to try. We LOVE that so many of the menu items are locally sourced. When the manager visited our table to check on us, we happily and without hesitation assured him that we were already talking about making a return visit. For a celebratory meal, date night, or just to grab one of their fabulous looking burgers, we look forward to our next Downtown Grille experience.

   It was our first trip to Downtown Grill. We enjoyed the experience. They were very very busy , but Nicky delivered on excellent service and presentation. His recommendations were appreciated. Thanks!

   Shrimp appetizer was delicious. Pork chop was maybe enough for 2 people. Loved the octopus appetizer as well. And the masonboro oysters were a favorite as well. Service was fantastic.

   While the inventive, locally based menu is the star, the ambience and service are unparalleled. The feel was vibrant with business dinners, dates nights and friend groups…on a Tuesday. Chef Harrison spoke with us and shared his passion for locally sourced ingredients which are the basis for his amazing dishes. The location, inside and art filled buzzing office building made me feel like I was in NYC, yet I parked out front. The Downtown Grille does not disappoint.

    I loved everything about my experience at The Downtown Grille. Service was great and the food delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about the cuisine and cocktails and her recommendations did not disappoint. I enjoyed the chicken marsala as my entree and my husband the grilled salmon. We shared sides of brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. The cocktails we ordered were equally delicious. Definitely worth it!
