On this, The restaurants original site, Doyles on the Beach opened Australia's first seafood restaurant in 1885. We have been family owned and operated for over 5 generations.

The restaurant internationally famous and a mecca for Sydneysiders and tourists alike, offering a stunning range of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.

Family Friendly, Great for date night!, indoor & outdoor dining located right next to the beach. We cater for families, business lunches, special events, weddings & special occasions. private rooms available.

Visit our newly opened open-air Garden Bar (open daily 11.30am - late) , try one of our refreshing cocktails, a draught beer or a glass of wine before dining in the restaurant or why not order from the garden bar menu. (reservations excepted for both the restaurant & garden bar)

    We have been going to Doyles for 20 years and this year had to be the worst experience ever. The food was disappointing and overpriced and the service was poor - they forgot to bring one of the main courses and threw us off the table. Sadly I won't be coming back next year.

    Our waitress was the best. So helpful and patient. Took lots of photos too to help celebrate my friends big birthday. We had a wonderful afternoon. It was very relaxing and nobody rushed us!!! Can’t wait to go again 😃😀

    Amazing setting, pictures cannot do it justice. Great food and good ambience with friendly service. Recommend for special occasions.

    What a fabulous choice to eat in the Sydney area. An easy ferry trip from downtown Sydney to Watsons Bay. A restaurant full of history and atmosphere. Iconic views and wonderful fish dishes. Really good value for money. So glad we visited and a very high recommendation from us.

    Unfortunately we did not feel it was up to a standard that would warrant above fair, the Barra was bland, the portion was relatively small for the price they were charging and the salad for $17 was mainly greens small amount or pear and walnut. I would probably not recommend visiting the establishment

    It was lovely to return one of Sydney’s icon restaurants. The family feel, quality of cooking and efficient, friendly staff make you feel right at home. As we expected a great range of fresh seafood was on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed. Nice to see a cocktail list added to the drinks menu and the very underrated Doyle’s wines and beer are still available. Add in the wonderful location, novel ferry ride to get there and the views, made a lunch a great occasion for the family. We won’t wait so long to return next time. Cheers, Rob S.
