dp An American Brasserie, is a signature restaurant by Dominick Purnomo. It offers a menu of imaginative and inventive cuisine, a dozen small plates, traditional favorites and signature menu items.

At just under 2000 sq ft with 18 foot ceilings and an abundance of natural lighting from six oversized windows, dp is a room that demands attention. Our dining room offers a mix of table & banquette seating in a decidedly more casual atmosphere than Yono’s.

It features a 25 foot custom mahogany and granite bar stocked with a full array of spirits, cordials, and of course myriad wines by the glass. We pride our beverage program on fresh, seasonally inspired cocktails, & by the glass wine program, ever-changing, that rivals any in the region. Guests are also invited to peruse the 1,000 selection Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence” winning Yono’s wine list.

We always look forward to dining at dp Brasserie. The food is delicious and the service exceptional. Kiara R. was very charming, knowledgeable and attentive. We enjoyed the charred octopus, the pear and chevre salad, a burger and the chicken Gabriel. The Bananas Foster was a perfect ending to our perfect meal.

We were four people to dine. We were going to a show so we wanted something fast. My husband and I had the French Onion soup. It was delicious- not a canned beef broth but a deliciously rendered Onion soup. We also had another appetizer that was great. The four of us ordered burgers for our entree. The burger was perfectly cooked. A wonderful searing on the outside and a perfect medium. Our friend ordered a rare burger and another medium well. . All were perfectly cooked. For what we had at dp Brassiere we were very happy. The ground beef was of good quality- I’m not sure what the blend was. Service was excellent. They were rather busy but had enough support staff and servers to have a stress free time. I will go there again when I’m in Albany.

The last time we were there the restaurant greatly disappointed us. However this time around we really enjoyed it. Indonesian noodle dish was great and my wife’s fish dish was outstanding. Generous portions. Our server was great as well. We will be back!

Good location and nice drink menu, but it takes a while to get your drinks and your food. The food itself was expensive and the quality was lacking. We had the "smash burgers" with a salad. The burgers weren't "smashed", rather, just regular burgers. They came to us overcooked and cold. The tomatoes in the salad seemed old. We wouldn't go back.

Very nice restaurant with a variety of dishes. Burgers, BBLT and Indonesian noodles were all great as were the desserts. Prompt attentive service was a delight.

Had dinner there preconcert. DP American Brasserie was perfect for that. Friendly welcome great cozy location. Alice was our server and she was delightful! She was able to add some crudite to our whipped eggplant appy order for me (gluten sensitive) and also had the kitchen warm up some gluten free bread for me! Food was great...even Yono stopped by our table to check on us...Memorable meal and concert. Well done Albany

We sat at the bar bc we like eating at the bar. Feel we get better service at some places. Great and attentive without being overbearing service, excellent food and I'm a chef so I know food. pricey but we'll worth it. Go there everytime we hit a show at The Palace Theater.
