It’s been that way since Drago & Klara Cvitanovich opened our restaurant in 1969. They set out to offer delicious seafood and a good time to guests for a reasonable price. At that time, they couldn’t even imagine how many guests that would become.

Today it’s still a family atmosphere. Klara is still at the front to greet our guests. Tommy Cvitanovich, Drago and Klara’s son, is there to see that things run smoothly.

Thank you for choosing Drago’s Seafood Restaurant at Hilton New Orleans Riverside for your dining experience. We don’t accept reservation, however, walk-ins are always welcome to join us. Hope to see you soon!

    We were happy to be seated quickly, however we were in draft of the cold wind. Our server was just ok, he acted like he didn’t want to be there. He was not very pleasant nor helpful. Overall we had a thought we had a good dining experience, However three people who ate with us last night said they got sick from the food.

    Sat at table basked one time for drink and food order. PERIOD, DONE, our server never came back but we did watch the manager walk through the facility stuffing her face dressed like a homeless women!

    We have eaten here many times as it’s absolutely on of our favorite places. The oysters are unbelievable. I got the Lobster Marco for my entree and the lobster was bad I sent it back and the one they brought me was not much better. I just paid for it and moved on. I’m not sure what the deal was but I’ve eaten the lobster Marco many times and it’s always been delicious but not this time. We will be back though we love Dragos.

    Well the service from our server was pretty good. My husband wasn’t pleased with his fish platter. I felt like my Lobster Marco was over exaggerated. However our sons enjoyed their food. I wanted to see what all hype was about. I came, I saw, I ate, but my family and I wont be returning.

    An overhyped sports bar. If you do go, be sure to make reservations, otherwise be prepared to wait.

    This place has gone bad. The presentation and flavor of there famous chargrilled oysters is not up to par. It’s way to salty and sloppy put together. This place needs some extensive retraining of employees. After a 7 hour drive I was extremely displeased.

    The charbroiled oysters were very good and the Pama Mama cocktail was good as well! Chandria our server was very delightful and welcoming. Our food wasn't the greatest. The taste, the presentation and the quality of the food wasn't appealing at all! It was a learning lesson at best. It was our first time visiting NOLA and Drago's, as well as our first time trying charbroiled oysters so all in all we accomplished our goal (of trying oysters). We just wish our wedding Anniversary dinner would've been a bit more filling and appetizing. My husband ordered the Surf and Turf with the Rosemary Potatoes and broccoli and I order the Lobster Mac and Cheese. My husband stated that his steak wasn't the freshest cut of meat and didn't taste that good. The Rosemary Potatoes were wilted and over cooked/roasted and the broccoli was room temperature. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was good, it was just missing the lobster chunks. But the oysters, cocktail and our waitress was very nice.

    Food was delicious. Myself andy wife enjoyed having my birthday dinner there. We didn't have to wait for a table as I had previously made reservations. Waiter was nice and informative about the dinner and drink menu's. Nice atmosphere the entire dining experience.
