We’ve loved every minute of having you over at ours during the last 4+ years and welcoming you into Drake Commissary, our unique culinary hub on Sterling Road. We are saddened to inform our friends, neighbours, guests and suppliers that Drake Commissary will close to the public today. We can’t thank you enough for embracing us in this very special community and we hope you’ll come to visit us at one of our other Drake Properties to see some familiar faces, enjoy a bite and drink amongst friends.

From our guests and partners to our suppliers and our incredible team, we are so proud of everyone who had a part in making the Drake Commissary the distinctive and inclusive hub for unique and diverse experiences through art, culture and food that it came to be.

                              The food was excellent. The menu was more restricted than in pre- Covid times. The service was attentive. The Covid spacing and restrictions were handled well.

                              Overall clean. But given they empathize their "Good Clean Fun Policy" it falls a bit short when the washrooms were not touchless and no paper towels available to dry your hands and to open the doors. Air dryers are the worst for spreading germs, regardless of covid, Luckily, I always carry tissues for that very reason. When the staff use the washrooms, despite if they wash them, when they touch the door handles, then go to the kitchen to prepare the food, how hygienic is that? Not at all! Regardless of covid or not this is not very good practice.
