Drakes Sonoma Coast celebrates the local bounty of Sonoma’s spectacular coastal region. Your dining experience will be highlighted by the seasonal availability of local, sustainably farmed produce, seafood, and meat. A large stone fireplace adds a warm glow to the dining room, while soft leather chairs and local artwork create an elegant yet casual setting. As guests at the Lodge, we thought it would just be an easy place to dine out - but it was the perfect place to celebrate 30 years of marriage. Everyone was so lovely, the view was spectacular -but the food was the star. Thank you so much for being part of our aniversary!

Our server Kelsey was warm and welcoming. The mussel cacio e pepe and the pork chop were fantastic. The have unique wines on the menu.

Limited menu, very intimate dining room and not much of a view. But, great service and good food! Was really nice to not have to leave the property to go to dinner for our anniversary.

I had the blacken cod and my husband had the rib eye. Both entrees were prepared perfectly and very yummy. We were given a window table and got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed complimentary glasses of champagne and a dessert to share to celebrate our anniversary. Joaquin, our server, did a wonderful job and we left feeling like we want to return tomorrow night.

There are 2 different experiences at Drake's. The Fireside Lounge is an amazing bar with terrific bartenders, great views, and wonderful ambiance. The limited bar menu features most if not all of the best plates they serve out of the main restaurant. The main restaurant is a letdown compared to the Lounge. Service is spotty at best, and the entrees are mostly examples of mediocre hotel food; uninspired, not bad, but not good enough to match the ambiance in the room. Skip the main dining room experience and do the bar; you won't be disappointed.

This is at least our 3rd time having dinner at Drakes. What a lovely place. So peaceful and quiet. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. It seems that many diners are staying at the hotel but we drive there from Petaluma because it's worth it! We will definitely be back again.
