Dram fell short on food and service. When it came to place our order, we were told an item was out. No problem, we’ll have someone else place an order while the other person thinks of another dish to order. When she decided what she wanted, she was told there was only 1 order of that item left. I decided to let her have my order, which was that last item, and went ahead and ordered something else. The sever comes back later and informs me they are out of the dish that I had ordered. That’s 3 items we just went through that’s out. I just chose the wrap and that’s that. We got our drinks and my friend and I had ordered the tiki latte but she specifically asked for iced. When we received the drinks, both lattes came iced. I informed the server that I did not order iced and she told me that’s how it comes. If that was the case, the menu would have said Iced Tiki Latte and the description would have also mentioned it.
Decor is nice, but that’s about it.
TLDR -
Here’s the reason why they fell short:
- obviously no communication going on. If they’re out of items, the kitchen staff should communicate with FOH. This should also be mentioned when either being seated or when handed menus
- the servers tone when saying the latte comes iced when the menu clearly doesn’t reflect that
- the manager should have came by to apologize with the miscommunication about what they don’t have available. For the server to say no twice and then have to come back to tell us the third choice was not available looks bad and disorganized
- the server did not check in when we received our food
- the food was all under salted and under seasoned. The house hot sauce is not spicy at all but it helps bringing some flavor. Also there’s no salt and pepper on the table. And yes, we did end up adding salt to all of our savory dishes
Based upon these reasons, we most likely won’t visit this place again.
