A distinct new dining experience led by celebrated Chef Anthony Walsh, Drift features modern, elevated takes on classic Atlantic Canadian dishes and traditions. Located on the main level of the newly built Muir Hotel, our salon, bar and promenade offer a simple, modern and stylish setting in which to dine, drink, linger and relax without interruption.     If you are lucky enough to have Maija as your server, you’re experience at Drift will be even more wonderful. She was informative and delightful, and the ravioli and Mary’s brown bread were excellent.

    This restaurant is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The ambiance is very good. Nicely decorated.No noise That said we were there on a Thursday and the restaurant was maybe half full so noise levels likely different on a busier night. Our server (Kenny) did an excellent job. Drinks were well done. Food for all four guests was perfect. Will definitely return.

    From the moment we walked in until we walked out we had an amazing fine dining experience. The food was outstanding and their cocktails were exquisite.

    Very courteous, professional staff with servers working as a team to provide service. Relaxed atmosphere, not rushed. Fine food.

    We loved out dinner at drift this evening! We had very attentive and welcoming servers who were knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the brown bread with the honey butter as a starter and I had the Atlantic Salmon as the main. It was divine! We plan to go back again soon.

    I had booked a table for a special occasion and had requested for a nicer table with a view when booking. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to sit at 2 different tables both which were in front of the door. We asked about a different table along the window and were told it was being held…the table remained open for the better part of our dinner and then was given to a walk in. Our food was not quality checked and overall it wasn’t a great experience on a night that needed to be special.
